We, NIPPON CARBIDE INDUSTRIES CO., INC. , have developed and evolved new technology and new products according to our corporate philosophy, “To contribute to the society with our technology”.

In 1935, when our company was established, Acetylene Derivatives Industry in which “Carbide” is used the main raw material was the cutting edge in the Chemical Industries.
And NIPPON CARBIDE INDUSTRIES was a pioneer of that Acetylene Derivatives Industry at that time. We have continued to approach new possibility with the technology which we have gained as our backbone. Based on that element, we have brought up Chemicals & Specialty Polymers Div., Functional Film Div. and Electronic Materials Div. as our three main businesses. Also we have expanded our business into the world including Asia, North America and Europe. We have more than ten bases in those areas and have been growing in the global competition.

We continue to evolve further henceforth as well, and aim not to be large but to be “Shinin’ good company” to satisfy each stakeholder of customers, shareholders, employees and community who put their trust in us.
